Srixon built the Soft Feel Lady for women who swing at moderate speeds and want a ball that gets up quickly. It feels very soft, launches high, and sells at budget prices. Pure distance and greenside spin lag behind.
What's new
This is the women's version of Srixon's Soft Feel, a two-piece ball with a 58 compression FastLayer core under a gloss ionomer cover just 0.057 inches thick. Srixon tunes that core for a woman's swing, aiming for a mid-high flight and a softer feel.
A 338 Speed Dimple pattern uses shallow dimples meant to help the ball fly higher and longer. You buy it as a nine-ball set at the budget end of the market, and a larger 24-ball pack is also sold.
How it plays
Feel carries this ball. A 9.4 there puts it near the top of its class, and the low compression gives a soft response off every club, driver to putter.
With a moderate swing, a higher launch turns into carry. Forgiveness holds up at 8.0 and accuracy lands at 7.5. Its 9.6 value score tops the card, so a ball lost in the water barely registers.
Where it lacks
Distance scores just 7.4. Soft cores give up ball speed, and on full swings this one runs out of steam before firmer balls do. Quicker swingers also lose some control over launch.
Workability sits at 6.8, the lowest number on the card. A low-spin design offers little bite from tight lies around the green, so chips release more than a better player would like.
“Buy it for the feel and easy launch. At moderate swing speeds, the soft core helps more than it costs.”- The Club Stand gear team
Reasons to buy
- Feel scores a 9.4, helped by a 58 compression core and a thin, soft ionomer cover
- Core and shallow dimples are tuned to launch higher at moderate swing speeds for more carry
- A 9.6 value score means a ball lost in the pond barely stings
Reasons to think twice
- Distance scores only 7.4, since a core this soft gives up ball speed on full swings
- Faster swingers get less control over launch from such a low compression
- Workability trails at 6.8, with little greenside spin to stop chips from tight lies

More balls we've scored
- Titleist Pro V1 2025 - 8.8/10. Titleist's most-played ball gets a faster core and adds spin with irons and wedges.
- Callaway Chrome Tour 2026 - 8.7/10. A stiffer mantle gives Callaway's 2026 tour ball more speed without hardening the feel.
- Vice Pro 2024 - 8.7/10. A three-layer urethane ball that matched or beat the Pro V1 in testing for about mid-tier money.
- TaylorMade TP5 2026 - 8.6/10. A softer five-layer TaylorMade that ranked second for greenside spin among 62 robot-tested balls.
- Titleist Pro V1x 2025 - 8.6/10. Titleist's firmer, higher-flying Pro V1x trades a little softness for more wedge spin than its sibling.
- TaylorMade TP5x 2026 - 8.5/10. TaylorMade's lowest-spinning tour ball gets a micro coating in 2026 so each shot flies like the last.
