Srixon finally put an adjustable hosel on a ZXi hybrid, and the result is one of the straightest clubs in its class. It is not the longest or most forgiving, but it rarely misses offline.
What's new
The headline change is a 12-way adjustable hosel, standard across all five lofts and new to a ZXi hybrid. Srixon also grew the head over the previous generation and built the face around i-FLEX, an ultra-thin center backed by a carbon crown.
Lofts run 17, 19, 22, 25 and 28 degrees, so most bags can find a slot for one. It hit retail in January 2025 at a mid-tier price and now sometimes sells below list, which helps a value score of 8.4.
How it plays
Accuracy carries this club. At 8.8 it beats every other score on the sheet, and it drove an 8.7 overall in an independent 2025 hybrid test. Forgiveness follows at 8.6, so mishits still finish close to the target line.
Distance rates 8.4, which reflects the thin face doing its job without leading the class. Workability at 8.3 leaves room to shape a shot, and feel scores 8.2, the lowest of the six but still respectable.
Where it lacks
Measured against other 2025 hybrids, distance and forgiveness sit in the middle of the field. If you want the most carry or the biggest safety net, other heads do more.
It is also no longer Srixon's newest hybrid, since the ZXi RKT followed it. Some fitters took a while to warm to the bigger shape, so try it at address before you buy.
“It will not win a long drive, but I trust it to start on my line.”- The Club Stand gear team
Reasons to buy
- Accuracy scores 8.8, its best number, so shots stay on line more often than the rest of its card would suggest
- A 12-way hosel comes on every loft, a first for a ZXi hybrid
- Five lofts from 17 to 28 degrees at a mid-market price let you fill a gap without overpaying
Reasons to think twice
- Distance and forgiveness land mid-pack among 2025 hybrids, solid but never the class leader
- Srixon has already moved on to the ZXi RKT hybrid, so this head is a generation old
- Some fitters needed time to get used to a larger head than the last ZXi hybrid
