New Level keeps its wedge simple: a forged blade, a raw finish, no offset. The SPN V3 finished second overall in a 2026 wedge test and won its accuracy category, and it does it for value-tier money.

What's new

The SPN V3 is a forged, raw-finish blade with zero offset and a compact head shape reviewers likened to a Vokey. Lofts run from 46 to 60 degrees, and you choose among S, C, V and L grinds.

The 60 degree L grind carries 6 degrees of bounce, and a KBS Wedge shaft in R or S flex comes stock. New Level sells it direct, prices it per club in the value tier, and offers bundle pricing for buying a set.

How it plays

Accuracy carries this wedge. It scores 9.5 here, and the same figure won it best for accuracy in a 2026 wedge test where it placed second overall at 9.1. Workability follows at 9, which fits a small, offset-free blade you can open up and play around the green.

Spin scored 8.7 in that test and consistency 8.6. One review saw it hold more than 10,000 rpm on mishits, so a strike off the sweet spot still checks up. Feel rates 8.6, while distance and forgiveness each sit at 8.5.

Where it lacks

A true blade only forgives so much. The mishit spin numbers are good, but a cavity-back wedge will hide a thin or toe strike better, and the 8.5 forgiveness score trails its own accuracy mark by a full point.

Zero offset is a taste. Players who like seeing a bit of hosel ahead of the face may never settle over it. Buying direct also means no retail fitting network, so getting the grind and bounce right is on you.

“For this kind of money, I did not expect a forged blade to be this accurate.”

Reasons to buy

  • Accuracy scores 9.5, and a 2026 wedge test named it the best wedge for accuracy
  • Four grinds (S, C, V and L) across lofts from 46 to 60 degrees let you build a real wedge set
  • Forged construction and a raw finish for value-tier money, with bundle pricing on sets

Reasons to think twice

  • As a true blade, it gives less help on poor contact than a cavity-style wedge would
  • Zero offset suits players who like a clean leading edge, but some will want a little offset
  • Sold only direct to consumer, so you cannot try one at a local shop or fitting bay
