Cleveland's RTZ Tour Rack is a raw-finish wedge built around one strength: it holds spin when the grass is wet. Across a full robot test, though, it finished 12th of 15.
What's new
The Tour Rack is the raw version of Cleveland's RTZ wedge, released in March 2025. Its head is Z-Alloy steel left in a raw finish, ground to a Tour Rack sole and offered in lofts from 46 to 60 degrees.
Cleveland prices it in the middle of the market and sells each wedge individually. A stock stainless steel shaft comes in the base build.
How it plays
Put it on damp turf and it barely changes. In a wet-spin study of 11,400 shots, 50-yard spin on this wedge held at 97.9 percent, and nothing else in that field retained as much.
On dry ground it reads as a solid wedge rather than a standout. Feel (8.7) and workability (8.5) lead the card, good news for anyone who likes to flight and shape short shots, while accuracy and value each land on 8.4 and distance trails at 8.1.
Where it lacks
The robot did not rate it near the top. Its robot score over the 15-club test was 8.3, good for 12th, and forgiveness at 7.9 is its weakest category.
Raw steel needs regular maintenance if you want it to keep its look. Anyone particular about shafts should also note that the base configuration comes with stock stainless steel.
“If you play a lot of golf on soft, damp courses, this wedge deserves a hard look.”- The Club Stand gear team

Reasons to think twice
