SeeMore's SBx puts a milled steel head on a zero-torque, face-balanced build and asks premium money for it. From long range it rewards you. From middle distance, the testing tells a different story.
What's new
The SBx arrived in November 2025 as a 2026 model, SeeMore's take on the zero-torque mallet. The head is milled stainless steel under a black coat, and SeeMore sells it as the Platinum Black SBx.
Balance is face balanced, so the design leans on stability over feel for arc. SeeMore prices it at the premium end of the milled market, well above budget zero-torque options.
How it plays
Long putts are where it earns its keep. Across a 26-club zero-torque field on the PuttView scale, where a more negative figure is better, it scored -8.2 on long putts, and short putts held up at -6.9.
Our scores follow that pattern: 8.5 for forgiveness, 8.4 for distance and 8.2 for feel. A face-balanced head that resists twisting gives speed control a steady base, and that shows most on long putts.
Where it lacks
Middle distance is the problem. Its medium-range figure sank to -3.7, which dragged the overall result down to -6.4 and 13th place out of 26, squarely mid-pack.
A second test of 37 zero-torque models was harsher still, scoring the SBx at 50.0 and placing it last. Workability, at 7.4, trails its other scores, and at this price a mid-table finish stings.
“Give me a long putt and I back it. From middle distance my confidence drops, and that matters.”- The Club Stand gear team
Reasons to buy
- Long putts were its strongest split in a 26-club zero-torque test, at -8.2 on the PuttView scale
- Milled stainless steel head gives a solid, consistent face
- Face-balanced zero-torque design keeps the stroke stable, backed by an 8.5 forgiveness score
Reasons to think twice
- Medium-length putting fell to -3.7, its weakest split by a wide margin
- Placed 13th of 26 in one zero-torque test and came last of 37 in another
- Priced in premium milled territory, which is hard to square with middling test rankings
