SeeMore built the SKx as a zero-torque mallet and mills its aluminum head before giving it a black finish. It aims well and feels good in the hands. Two large head-to-head tests, though, put it near the very bottom of the field.
What's new
The SKx arrived in November 2025 as a 2026 model, part of SeeMore's push into zero-torque putters. Its head is milled aluminum, it weighs 350 g, and it sits face balanced on a 34 inch steel shaft.
SeeMore sells it as the Platinum Black SKx, and the price lands squarely in premium territory. You are paying for a milled head and a zero-torque design, so expectations start high.
How it plays
It aims well. Accuracy scores 8.0 and feel matches it, and in PuttView testing the SKx posted -6.0 on short putts and -6.7 on long ones, both decent enough for a putter you would trust from inside the leather.
Distance control rates 7.8, value 7.9, and workability drops to 7.2. Forgiveness trails at 6.9, so mishits cost more here than the feel suggests they will.
Where it lacks
Medium-length putts let it down. The SKx scored -0.6 there, almost nothing next to its short and long figures, and that hole dragged its overall PuttView mark to -4.8 and 25th place out of 26.
A second test of 37 zero-torque models told the same story: 57.1 points and a tie for 33rd. When two separate fields both put a putter this close to last, the ranking is hard to wave away.
“I like how it sets up and rolls short ones, but those mid-range numbers would make me nervous.”- The Club Stand gear team
Reasons to buy
- Accuracy and feel both score 8.0, the strongest marks on its card
- Short-putt testing came out at -6.0, a respectable figure for a putter that ranked this low overall
- Milled aluminum head and a clean black finish look the part at premium money
Reasons to think twice
- Finished 25th of 26 in a 2026 zero-torque PuttView test with an overall -4.8
- Tied for 33rd of 37 in a second zero-torque test, scoring 57.1
- Medium putts fell apart at -0.6, far behind its own short and long numbers
